LAHORE- Lahore Medical and Dental College recently organized a CDE workshop on “Dental Implants” as it is considered as one of the innovative options to restore aesthetics and function. The purpose of the workshop was to highlight the significance of dental implant, treatment planning, preparation of bone for implant placement and practical placement of dental implant. Workshop was held under the supervision of head of Periodontology and Implant dentistry department, Dr Nadeem Pasha. Delivering a lecture on the occasion, Dr Pashahighlighted the basic features of an implant and their significance along with clinical implication. Later, all the participants of the workshopwere provided with models to place an implant. Dr Pasha guided every student individually. The CDE activity concluded with distribution of certificates among all the participants. –PR
