KARACHI: After a gap of 17 years, Asia-Pacific Dental Federation (APDF) has allotted its flagship 43rd Annual Conference to Pakistan. More than 30 countries representing APDF will be participating in this conference. APDC Pakistan 2022 will be a Virtual Conference. Pakistan received its last APDC in 2006.
Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) will host the Virtual 43rd Asia-Pacific Dental Congress (APDC) from June 22- 26, 2022. Sixty-four renowned International speakers from 18 Countries will be giving presentations. Dental News is the exclusive media partner of the event.
The local organising committee consists of Dr Mahmood Shah (Patron), Prof. Ambreen Ahsan Afzal (Chairperson Conference), Prof. Syed Shah Faisal (Co-Chairman Conference), Prof. Nasir Ali Khan (Chairman Registration and Secretary Conference), Dr Murtaza Raza Kazmi (Chairman Scientific), Prof. Hasan Mehdi (Chairman Virtual Affairs), Dr Anwar Saeed (Chairman Sponsorships), Dr Ghulam Ali Siyal (Chairman Finance), Dr Summaiya Rehman (Chairperson Coordination).
APDF will issue the Certificate of Attendance to the registered participants with 18 CPD points given by the International College of Continuing Dental Education (ICCDE).
Pakistani dentists and students are eligible for a subsidised registration fee of Rs 2,000. There will also be Quiz and Poster Competitions for dental students and young dentists. The winners will be acknowledged by APDF.
There is a limited number of registrations for Pakistan on a first-come, first-serve basis.
