19 More Dengue Cases Surface.
KARACHI- As many as 19 more Dengue Fever cases were detected across the city of Karachi, taking the reported cases toll to 669 in the city, since 1st January 2018.
As per weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 20 new dengue fever cases were reported from Sindh, out of which 19 were recorded from within Karachi and 1 from other districts of the province of Sindh.
In August, a total of 39 dengue positive cases have been reported throughout the province of Sindh, out of which 38 were from Karachi and 1 from another district of Sindh.
This year, till date, a total of 710 Dengue cases have been reported throughout the Province of Sindh, out of which 669 were reported from within Karachi and 41 from rest of the Province.
Unfortunately, this year, a death was also reported in Karachi due to dengue.
