KARACHI- The department of Oral Diagnosis & Medicine Department, Sir Syed Dental Hospital organized poster competition on 24th November 2014. The organizing doctors were Dr.Mahreen Shahzad (Head of Oral Diagnosis & Medicine Department, SSCMS), Dr Raheela Faraz & Dr Hira Jafrani.
Two groups participated in the competition and they were assigned different topics which are as follows; Group A: How To Maintain Good Oral Hygiene and Group B; Habits Leading to Oral Cancer. The judges of the competition were Dr. Omair Sheikh (In charge, Sir Syed Dental Hospital), Dr. Yousuf Moosa (Head of Periodontology, SSCMS).They evaluated and marked different aspects of the presentation and poster.
First Prize was awarded to Group A: Aisha Zia,Amna Hanif,Anila,Anum Waris,Anum Sheikh,Bazalah Bakhat,Binte-E-Zehra and Daniya Batool and Second Prize was awarded to Group B: Fatima Qasim,Gohar Ali,Gulrukh Tahir, Hafiza Fatima, Haleema Sadia,Humaira Rasheed and Human Khalid. The winners were awarded by certificates.
