The Community Dentistry Department at Islamabad Medical & Dental College (IM&DC) in collaboration with Refugee Crisis Foundation (RCF)- a UK based NGO- conducted community outreach programs.The venues for outreach activity were Islamic Public School, Tatral village, Smart School, Barakahu, and Niaz Foundation, Rawat.
The team members, along with the RCF team, included senior faculty members of Community Dentistry Department: Dr Rubina Mumtaz and Dr Sheze Haroon Qazi. House officers, Dr Muzamil, Dr Shazeena, Dr Ishtiaq, and Dr Tayyab, also actively participated in the program.
The team performed dental screening, preventive prophylaxis, atraumatic restorative treatment and initiated silver diamond fluoride (SDF) applications on school, children.
