KARACHI: Preparations for the 43rd Asia Pacific Dental Congress (APDC), Pakistan (Virtual), to be held online from 22nd to 26th June 2022, are in their final stages. Dental News is the exclusive media partner of the event.

More than 1,000 Registrations have already been confirmed for APDC 2022, mainly from Taiwan, the Philippines and Hong Kong. Registrations will be expected to cross the 2,000 mark, with Pakistani registrations still to start after May 15, 2022. 

 Dr Mahmood Shah has advised dentists and students from Pakistan to register for this conference in large numbers and make Pakistan’s presence felt in the Asia-Pacific Region and as the host of APDC 2022. Dr Nasir Ali Khan said that dentists and students should avail the subsidised registration fees for Pakistanis of PKR 2,000 only, with 18 CPD points being awarded by the International College of Continuing Dental Education (ICCDE) to each registered participant. 

 Dentists (05 years after graduation eligible) can also avail ICCDE Honorary Fellowship on application to the Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) and fees of USD 230 to ICCDE.

 Moreover, two workshops, i.e., Rotary Endodontics by Prof Abu Bakr Sheikh, Pakistan and Tobacco Cessation (FDI), will also be streamed on June 23 2022.
