PESHAWAR: After being moved through petitions against use of Bluetooth gadgets by candidates in the recent Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT), the Peshawar High Court (PHC) has withheld results of the exam.
The order was issued by PHC Justice Arshad Ali while hearing the petitions filed against MDCAT paper leak.
The court also sought responses from the chief secretary, registrar of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and others on the issue·
The PHC ordered that the MDCAT results should not be announced until the next hearing, adjourning the petitions till September 21.
The petitioner students had sought stoppage of the MDCAT results announcement till the court decision.
The MDCAT exam was held on September 10 across the country, participated in by thousands of students.
