KARACHI- Baqai Dental College hosted a silver jubilee congress on 17th and 18th December 2014 to commemorate 25 years of its existence. As part of honoring its alumni for their achievements, Dr. Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi received a shield from Prof. Dr ZahidaBaqai – the Vice Chancellor of Baqai Medical University, on account of becoming the acting Principal of Dental Section, Bahria University Medical and Dental College in October 2014.
Dr. Kulsoom Fatima graduated from Baqai University in 2005 and pursued a post-graduate degree from King’s College London. She is author of a book titled “Oral Cancer Screening”. As also being the Head of the Department of Community and Preventive Dentistry at BUM&DC, she is actively involved in the outreach community oral health services. With her dynamic leadership, Dr. Kulsoom Fatima has contributed immensely to the institute and maintained its prestige for academic excellence.
