KARACHI: Karachi Eat Food Festival, Pakistan’s biggest, most prominent and culturally rich fiesta took place recently celebrating its 10th edition.

With over 100 vendors and thousands of attendees each year, Karachi Eat has instigated and evolved with the idea of creating a common platform for people who love to eat and explore food presenting renowned chefs, live music and entertainment, kids play area and much more.

“The Eat Festival came to life 10 years ago with the aim of bringing diverse good food, to the citizens of Karachi, as well as music all together under one roof” said Omar Omari, CEO of Eat Food Pakistan

Hashmanis Group of Hospitals, an exclusive and official health partner of Karachi Eat represented various free medical services and consultation onsite including eye care, diagnostic care, first aid and emergency services as well as Hashmanis dental care & aesthetics with an exclusive focus towards promoting the recently launched aesthetics extension.

Over 200 folks visited Hashmanis dental care & aesthetics stall, utilising the free dental screening and counseling on spot. Hashmanis certified and experienced dentist and counselor were super energised and focused on helping the community with any and all dental or orthodontic problems, smile enhancement requirements as well as any growing skin concerns.

Health workers at the Hashmanis stall truly empathised with individuals who were embarrassed of their looks or smile, including struggles with chipped, cracked, spaced or misaligned teeth, experiencing problems associated with tooth decay, root or gum infection, toothache or tooth sensitivity as well as any skin concerns relating acne, scars, pigments, aging, dead skin or uneven skin tone among others.

Over 85% of the leading concerns explored onsite were limited to questions regarding when to visit a dentist, inability to gain access to quality dentistry as well as bad or unhealthy food diet causing extreme teeth discoloration, calculus, caries, periodontal diseases, tooth pain or sensitivity, diastema closure among various others.

Many parents also came around for their child’s dental health check-ups, discovering issues related to oral and dental hygiene, retained deciduous teeth, rampant caries and chromogenic stains. Our dentists demonstrated how to better manage, maintain and look after their teeth with proper brushing techniques as well as giving significance to visiting an experienced pedodontist for the proper treatments at appropriate and proper ages.

Overall, some of the most interesting and common ‘questions’ were concerning teeth whitening, root canal treatment, dental implants, and clear aligners. Hashmanis specialists were deeply engaged, educating all attendees on some of the latest dental trends, equipments and available treatment options.

Moreover, the highlight of the event was introduction of latest aesthetic services at Hashmanis Dental and Aesthetic Care Center that created a massive excitement among visitors, captivating and arousing curiosity to learn more.

Our representative guided visitors on the latest developments in skin care as well as directions towards getting customised treatments through examining and testing skin patches for safer and optimal results through the latest treatment options like hydra facial, hair and skin PRP, HIFU face lifting, botox & fillers, skin whitening, laser hair removal and more.

Moving on, the crowd at Hashmanis got much amused with a game of ‘Spin to Win’ the wheel of fortune where a couple of free scaling, hydra facials and more were given out to the winners. Overall, the event was successfully executed with great observing, learning, exploring, educating and engaging along with a bit of fun! Our team was proud to receive many positive responses and appreciation from our attendees.
