PESHAWAR: A workshop on Head and Neck Diagnostic Histopathology, was held at Khyber College of Dentistry (KCD), Peshawar on 8th March, 2023.
The workshop was attended by post-graduate residents, dental students and faculty members. Dr. Benish Aleem in-charge of Oral Pathology, Institute of Pathology and Diagnostic Medicine, Khyber Medical University Peshawar facilitated the session. Dr. Samrina Mohammad, HOD oral Pathology at KCD participated as chief organizer/ facilitator.
Dr. Khurshid Ali and Dr. Hina Shabir Co-facilitated the session. The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Syed Nasir Shah, Dean KCD, followed by case presentations and hands-on microscopy. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by the organizers, souvenirs and certificate distribution among the facilitators and the participants. The participants gave a very positive feedback and requested the organizers to hold such refresher courses again as well. They found the session very helpful for understanding the clinical application of their basic knowledge of pathology. -PR
