Man Arrested For Black Marketing COVID Injections

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police has recently arrested a member of a gang involved in smuggling and black-marketing of Actemra injections.

They arrested him in a sting operation. Injections, which have been used in the treatment of COVID, were seized from his possession.

Dr Asim, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), confirmed the arrest and said that the man was selling an Actemra injection for over Rs 100,000, although its official rate was Rs 59,000. He further said that they were putting all their efforts to arrest the other members of the gang.
