LAHORE: To raise awareness about oral health issues and stress their impact on the overall health and personality of a persons, The University of Lahore (UOL), University College of Medicine and Dentistry’s Community and Preventive Dentistry department, marked World Health Day at LACAS Preschool, Johar Town.
On the occasion, a health professionals team led by Dr Zunaira Iqbal and Dr Seema Shafiq expounded on the significance of a healthy lifestyle, oral hygiene, practicing cleanliness, adhering to sleep patterns, limiting screen time and engaging in physical activity.
The event featured a practical demonstration on the correct methodology of brushing teeth, employing medical kits for this purpose.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer forum, whereby students were given the opportunity to pose queries on diverse health-related topics, which were answered by the experts.
