KARACHI- Provincial Health Minister Sindh Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar paid a surprise visit to Manghopir Rural Health Center, recently, where most medical staff including doctors was found absent from their duties.
Health Minister has showed his annoyance over absence of doctors in healthcare and directed to issue show-cause notices to seven absent doctors. He also directed the high-ups to send report about absence of doctors to him within 24 hours.
He said no negligence or slackness would be tolerated in matters related to public health and action would be taken against absent medical staff as per law.
