Cape Town- Dr Madiha Anwar, from Department of Oral Biology, Bahria University Medical and Dental College (BUMDC) was invited as Guest Speaker at the World Congress on Oral Care and Dentistry. The two-day conference took place in Cape Town, South Africa. The theme of the congress was innovative methods for different oral conditions. In the first session she spoke on her research work on “Craniofacial Anthropometry” and how it could be helpful in different clinical treatments. The second day mainly focused on oral cancer and its treatment modalities. In this session, Dr Madiha discussed her research done with Dr Beenish Fatima on awareness among medical and dental students about the signs, symptoms and risk factors of oral cancer.
