PESHAWAR: The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), stringent action has been taken by authorities. Students found guilty of cheating during the MDCAT, which took place on September 10, 2023, will now face a two-year ban from participating in the crucial examination.

The KP cabinet had previously suspended the Medical and Dental College Admission Test due to a significant number of reported cheating cases that had emerged across the province. In an official statement issued by Khyber Medical University in Peshawar, it was disclosed that a total of 219 students have been banned from taking part in the MDCAT as a consequence of their involvement in cheating.

This two-year ban serves as a strong deterrent to anyone contemplating compromising the integrity of this vital examination, emphasizing the commitment of the authorities to uphold the standards of fairness and transparency in academic assessments.
