KARACHI: On Wednesday, Pakistan reported five suspected cases of monkeypox in Karachi. These cases were identified among passengers who had recently arrived from Muscat at Jinnah International Airport. The individuals in question had traveled to Karachi on a foreign airline's flight.

The Sindh Health Department has taken swift action, announcing that the suspected patients will be promptly transferred to an infectious diseases hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
