KARACHI: An engaging awareness session on the Prevention of Harassment at Workplace Act was recently held to promote a safe and inclusive work environment. Organized by the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment at Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM), the session educated employees about their rights, responsibilities, and the mechanisms to address workplace harassment.
Expert speakers from legal and psychological fields provided valuable insights into the law’s provisions, its significance, and how to report and resolve complaints effectively. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of harassment, its various forms, and the role of internal committees in ensuring swift and fair action.
The event featured interactive discussions and real-life case studies, empowering employees to identify and address inappropriate behavior. Leadership emphasized their commitment to a discrimination-free workplace and encouraged proactive measures to foster dignity and mutual respect.
