MIRPURKHAS: The Medical Education Department at Bhitai Dental and Medical College, Mirpurkhas, under the leadership of Director Dr. Ali Maqbool and Assistant Directors Dr Rumesa Khero and Dr. Muhammad Anique, recently organized a dynamic workshop titled "The Art of Designing MCQs."
Led by Dr. Khero, the session was attended by a diverse group of senior faculty members to refine their skills in crafting effective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
During the enlightening workshop, the attendees actively engaged in role-playing exercises aimed at developing questions. Through these immersive activities, the participants gained practical insights into the step-by-step process of composing MCQs.
Under Dr. Rumesa's guidance, the participants explored various aspects of MCQ design, including A-type and R-type questions, item assessment, stages of construction, and the utilization of logical distractors, among other topics.
BDMC Managing Director Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Butt, Deputy CEO Dr. Suhail Ahmed Khero, and Principal Dr. Permanand commended the workshop's efforts and expressed optimism for future sessions aimed at further enhancing the professional development of the faculty members.
