ISLAMABAD - The Department of Dentistry at IMDC arranged workshops for fresh graduates of Islamabad Dental Hospital and IIDC.
The workshop was based on the ‘Spread and Prevention of Viral Blood Borne Infections through Dentistry.’
The facilitators of this workshop were Dr. Sheze Haroon Qazi (Assistant Professor IMDC) and Dr. Zeeshan Baig (Assistant Professor OMFS, IMDC). Dr. Saqib Sulema (PGT) and Dr. Saba Masoud (PGT) were this program’s co- facilitators.
Lectures covered the aspects of epidemiology, clinical presentation, serologic tests, vaccinations and prevention of viral blood borne infections. The participants were actively involved in group discussions and practical demonstrations, which enabled them to understand the concept of disease prevention and its correlation with dentistry.
