ISLAMABAD: The oath-taking ceremony of the newly inducted office-bearers of the Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Central Council will be held on November 21st at a local hotel in Islamabad.
The ceremony marks an important step forward for the organization and its mission to support and strengthen the dental community in Pakistan.
It will be attended by the newly-elected PDA President Dr. Khurshid Ahmad, Senior Vice President Prof. Ulfat Bashir Raja, General Secretary Prof. M. Umar Farooq Marwat, Finance Secretary Dr. Umar Farooq, and Information Secretary Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan Baig, besides other prominent dental professionals and health experts.
In an exclusive talk with Dental News, PDA President Dr Khurshid Ahmad said, "The oath symbolizes our unwavering commitment to serve the dental community with integrity, dedication, and professionalism. It is a pledge to uphold the values of excellence and compassion in every aspect of our work."
Dr. Ahmad also reflected on the challenges faced by the dental community, particularly the recent efforts to officially register the PDA. It is a step toward addressing the challenges faced by our members and advocating for their rights and interests," he added.
The oath-taking ceremony will showcase the collective resolve of the PDA to continue advancing the field of dentistry in Pakistan and serving its professionals and patients alike, he concluded.
