KARACHI: Bahria University Dental College (BUDC) Department of Orthodontics organised a very creative and unique activity to showcase the artistic side of its final-year BDS students who created artworks using dental wires.
The purpose of the artworks displayed in the BUDC conference room on the 6th floor was to ingrain manual dexterity in students to increase their orthodontic wire work capabilities and to equip them with acuity regarding wire bending.
The event received a lot of appreciation for its thoughtful intricacy and the amount of hard work that went into the artworks.
The participating students were graded by Dr Tauqeer Bibi and Dr Arsalan Khalid, while the certificates were given by BUDC Vice Principal Dr Kulsum Rizvi.
The certificates were awarded to Bibi Nimra and Samreen Fattani who secured 1st and 2nd position, respectively.-PR
