KARACHI – Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has regularized the services of its 650 contractual employees.
The contractual employees of Dow University whose services have been regularized include all those who were appointed up till March, 2013 in different basic pay scales, starting from 1 to 16.
The decision to regularize the services of the contractual employees was taken in the light of recommendations of a 9-member committee which was constituted by the DUHS vice chancellor Prof Masood Hamed Khan following Sindh government issued a notification concerning regularization of contractual employees.
Meanwhile, Prof Masood Hameed Khan has felicitated all those employees whose services have been regularized and urged them to work dedicatedly and diligently.
The employees expressed their gratitude to the vice chancellor for taking interest in the regularization of their services.
