The department of Community Dentistry of Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences (SIOHS) organized an Oral Health Awareness Program at Beacon House School D.H.A 8 Campus.
The students of 2nd year BDS, SIOHS, highlighted the importance of oral health and hygiene in daily life, by delivering knowledgeable presentations.
They also demonstrated different tooth brushing techniques in front of the students.
The lectures were delivered by Dr. Marium Azfar, Associate Prof and HOD- Department of Community Dentistry, Dr. Imran Khan (Assistant Professor) and Dr. Aqsa Chaudary.
Together they held interactive sessions with the school children, and shared pictorial power point presentations, alongside video demonstrations, prepared by the students of SIOHS.
The Principal of Beacon House School highly appreciated the efforts of SIOHS’s department of Community Dentistry, for spreading awareness amongst their school’s children.
