KARACHI- Hamdard University (HU) signed a memorandum of understanding with Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR), Karachi for collaboration aimed at research and development in Pakistan. This MoU will provide a common platform for both academia and industry to share and collaborate in innovative concepts. The memorandum of understanding was signed by Prof Mohammad Furqan, Principal, Hamdard College Of Medicine & Dentistry and Dr Khaula Sheeren, Head of the Applied Chemistry & Research Center, in presence of HU’s Vice chancellor Hakim Abdul Hannan, Vice Principal Dr. Nadeem Hafeez Khokhar, Acting Registrar Prof Dr Vali Uddin, Assistant Professor Dr.Abdur Rehman along with the senior officials of the University and the PCSIR. PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Karachi, is a leading research and development unit of PCSIR, which is engaged in producing high quality research/products by exploiting indigenous natural resources for the progress and development of the country. It also provides test/analysis and calibration service and assistance to the academic institutions through workshops, publications and seminars.-PR
