AFID holds Pakistan’s first operative dentistry, endodontics moot

RAWALPINDI: The country’s first Operative Dentistry and Endodontics Conference, attended by local as well as international experts, has been organized by the Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry (AFID) in Rawalpindi, aimed at revolutionising dental care.
Held under the patronage of Lt Gen Arshad Nadeem, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military), Surgeon General/Director General Medical Services (Inter Services), and Maj Gen Nadeem Ahmed Rana, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military), the conference brought together leading experts, researchers, and dental practitioners from around the world to explore advancements in operative dentistry and endodontics.
The moot served as a platform to promote state-of-the-art research, promote collaboration within the dental community, and enhance practical skills through knowledge-sharing.
During the conference, speakers delivered insightful presentations, sharing innovative ideas and engaging with participants in discussions that are expected to shape the future of dental practices in Pakistan.
Chairing the event, Maj Gen Nadeem Rana said, “This initiative is a significant milestone in fostering a knowledge-sharing network among dental professionals.
