ISLAMABAD: The newly inducted office-bearers of the Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Central Council officially took their oaths of office on November 21st during a ceremony at a local hotel in Islamabad.
The event marked a significant milestone for the PDA, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening Pakistan's dental community and advancing the field of dentistry.
The ceremony was presided over by Brig. Dr. Shahid, while it was graced by PDA President Dr. Khurshid Ahmad, Senior Vice President Prof. Ulfat Bashir Raja, General Secretary Prof. M. Umar Farooq Marwat, Finance Secretary Dr. Umar Farooq, and Information Secretary Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan Baig, along with other distinguished dental professionals and health experts including Prof. Ayyaz Ali Khan, Prof. Arshad Malik, Prof. Amjad Mehmood, Prof. Dr. Arham Chohan and other.
Addressing attendees, Dr. Khurshid Ahmad reiterated the association's commitment to the dental community. "This oath is a solemn commitment to uphold the principles of integrity, dedication, and professionalism. It represents our shared mission to serve the dental community and enhance patient care in Pakistan," he said.
Dr. Ahmad thanked the dental community for imposing their trust in the newly elected leadership of the association.
The event underscored the collective resolve of the PDA's leadership to champion the needs of dental practitioners while promoting advancements in oral healthcare across the country.
