SARGODHA: Niazi Dental College, in collaboration with Colgate Pakistan, recently observed Oral Health Week, marked by a range of initiatives, including a free dental camp at Niazi Dental Hospital and complimentary checkups of more than 25,000 students at local schools.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. A.G. Niazi, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Niazi Medical & Dental College, along with Prof. Dr. Mian Farrukh Imran, Dean and Principal of Niazi Dental College (NDC).
Throughout the week, hundreds of patients benefitted from free dental checkups at Niazi Dental Hospital, where they also received complimentary toothpaste and significant discounts on more extensive treatments.
As part of the campaign, ten teams comprising NDC dentists and students visited various schools across the Sargodha region, offering free dental checkups to over 25,000 students, besides educating them about proper oral hygiene practices, including effective brushing and flossing techniques. Colgate toothpaste and gift packs were also distributed among the students.
Other key activities organised by the NDC during Oral Health Week included a public awareness campaign on oral health, featuring pamphlets and posters with tips on oral hygiene and the importance of regular dental visits and a seminar on the latest advancements in oral healthcare.
Niazi Dental Hospital (NDH) reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality dental care to the residents of Sargodha and surrounding areas.
NDC management thanked Colgate Palmolive Pakistan for their support in promoting oral health and healthy smiles.
The drive concluded with a commitment to helping individuals achieve lifelong oral health and radiant smiles.
