SUFFOLK, UK: A woman residing in Suffolk recently filed and glued her teeth due to the unavailability of NHS dentists.
The British Dental Association has termed NHS dentistry to be so jeopardised that some patients have to wait for two years for check-ups.
Hence, Sharon Grey, from Suffolk, was forced to take matters to herself and turned to Do It Yourself (DIY) dentistry after waiting for NHS treatment for over a year. She filed down and superglued her own teeth.
She told the local media that she had filed her teeth with a metal file, superglued them back in, and managed to superglue most of her mouth. She further said that she had used Fixodent to try and hold a bridge onto her teeth, but that didn't work.
Sharon said she had worked her whole life, paid her national insurance and even for the NHS, but in the end, she was left in such a situation.
