Dental surgeon Dr Abdul Waheed Pathan in critical condition during Hajj

JACOBABAD: Dr. Abdul Waheed Pathan, a senior dental surgeon from Jacobabad, Pakistan, is currently in critical condition at Pakistan Mission Hospital in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Waheed, 65 years, was admitted on Friday after experiencing acute renal failure followed by intestinal obstruction and perforation. Despite undergoing Laprotomy yesterday, he remains unconscious.

Dr. Waheed had traveled to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj pilgrimage and was scheduled to perform Umrah days before falling ill. This year's Hajj pilgrimage has been marred by tragedy, with over 1000 pilgrims succumbing to heat exhaustion and related complications.

The dental community and Dr. Waheed's family friends are earnestly praying for his swift recovery. They urge everyone to join them in praying for his healing and to offer peace and comfort to his family during this difficult time.
