KARACHI: The Continuing Dental Education (CDE) Department of Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences (SSCMS) recently organised a one-day seminar on rotary endodontics. Humayun Dental Supplies sponsored the session.
Prof. HR Sukhia, Principal, Dental College, SSCMS and Prof. Syed Abrar Ali, Head of Operative Dentistry Department, Hamdard University, led the sessions as chief-guest speakers. The event organisers and facilitators were Dr Syed Ali Raza, Dr Zain Rauf Shamsi and Dr Hasan Askari.
Both the guest speakers discussed the latest innovations and technology in endodontics. Furthermore, Dr Abrar stressed the importance of proper endodontic equipment and techniques to simplify root canal treatment. He pointed out the role of the latest endo-rotary systems in the market to achieve better results. Dr HR Sukhia also specified the significance of rotary systems in determining modern-day root canal therapy in private clinical practice.
Later, Dr Zareen Afshan, Head of Operative Dentistry Department, SSCMS and Prof. Abrar organised a hands-on workshop to demonstrate the latest endo-rotary systems in the market.
