USA: Dr David Jadin, the US-based dental practitioner has creatively incorporated his love for Lego into his workplace, by turning his waiting room into a miniature version of Legoland.
If ever asked what he would want to be when he grew up, a young Dr David Jadin would have said Lego designer. However, even though the future looks slightly different today, it is still not far off from Dr David's childhood interests.
His Elm Grove, Wisconsin dental practice is heaven for all his Lego lover patients as the Pediatric dentist has successfully curated an environment to keep his patients engaged and to encourage them to return.
While the practice is polka dotted with miniature Lego figures of Spiderman, Olaf, and Harry Potter, Dr David has also represented dentistry by placing several self-made miniature figures of himself throughout the clinic. His dentist avatar, represented through Lego, invites children entering the office to familiarise themselves with basic instruments and elements of dentistry such as the dental mirror, handpiece, scrub cap, mask, and gloves.
"I've played with Lego all my life, it seems," Dr Jadin said. "If you had asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, depending on when you asked me, my answer would have been either to work for Lego or to be a dad. I didn't know then that pediatric dentistry and being the unofficial 'Lego dentist' was an option that would allow me to kind of do it all." he added.
