KARACHI- At least 19 more dengue fever cases were reported across the city of Karachi within last week, taking the reported cases toll to 343 in the city, since 1st January 2018.
According to the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, as many as 20 new dengue fever cases were reported across the province of Sindh, out of which 19 were reported from within Karachi and 1 from some other district of the province, all over a weeks span.
In May’18, a total 79 dengue positive cases were reported throughout Sindh, out of which 73 were from Karachi and 6 from other districts of the Province.
This year, a total of 367 dengue cases have been reported across Sindh, out of them 343 were from Karachi and 24 from rest of the province.
A death was also reported in Karachi this year.
