Pakistan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology (PSOMP) has organized a symposium on Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at King Edward Medical University (KEMU) Lahore, on 30th November, 2013. The Guests of Honor at the symposium include senior Professors like; Dr. Muhammad Saeed, Dr. Ayyaz Ali Khan, Dr. I.A. Naveed, Dr. Riaz Warraich, Dr. Mughees A. Baig, Dr. Bilqees Suleman, and Dr. Abdul Hanan Nagi. The highlights of the programme are Keynote lectures and workshops conducted by renowned experts like; Dr. Arshad Malik – President of PSOMP, Dr. Riaz Warraich - a pioneer in Oral Pathology from KEMU, Dr. Ejaz Waris – Gold medalist in Pathology, Assciate Professor Dr. Shahila Jaleel – Senior Histopathologist at Shaikh Zayed Hospital, and Dr Muhammad Ishaque – Head of ENT deptt at Sharif Medical and Dental College. Coordinated by Dr. Nauman Rauf Khan, the programme is designed to offer insightful experiences like; Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology slides examination, Power-Point Quiz, Hands on sessions on Salivary Diagnosis and ELISA demonstration.
