KARACHI: The Liaquat College of Medicine & Dentistry (LCMD) Operative Dentistry Department recently hosted Best House Officer Ceremony 2024, celebrating the dedication and achievements of its dental house officers.
The event was also attended by LCMD Principal Prof. Dr. Navid Rashid Qureshi, Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Naheed Najmi, and other faculty members.
Address the ceremony Principal Dr. Qureshi shared valuable career tips, encouraging the house officers to pursue their professional goals with passion and commitment.
He announced that the top-performing house officer would be hired by the college, eliciting cheers and applause from the audience.
Prof. Dr. Naheed Najmi in his speech highlighting the importance of dedication and compassion in dental practice, motivating the HOs to strive for excellence in their careers.
The event also featured an award distribution segment, where awards were presented to HOs in different categories, in concluding for 100pc attendance in all departments, best HOs in each department, best clinical performance, and the top three HOs.
The event was expertly organised by the Department of Operative Dentistry under Prof. Najmi's supervision, with results compiled by Dr. Tazeen Zehra and Dr. Uzma Yasmeen.
The awards recipients also included Dr. Mahnoor, Dr. Irha Tariq, and Dr. Sandleen Zulfiqar, whose hard work was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to the dedicated members of the organising committee, acknowledging their contributions to the event's success.
The ceremony concluded with a group photograph, after which attendees were served a delicious breakfast.
