KARACHI - The department of oral biology at Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences (SSCMS) held an “Occlusion” book report competition for the 1st year BDS students on 2nd August 2015. The certificates were distributed by prominent dental academicians Dr. Hasan Babar, Dr. Saad Sheikh & Dr. Yasser Riaz Malik. The winners, Tooba Sheikh, Misbah Akbar & Fatima Jahangir received a certificate of merit for their hardwork and dedication towards the report. The Principal (Dental) SSCMS, greatly lauded the sincere efforts of Dr. Saad Sheikh and Dr. Hasan Baber towards cultivating a research based atmosphere amongst the dental students. Commenting on the program the SS Admin has stated that; evidence based dentistry should be encouraged to further enhance the rich dental system of the college.-PR
