KARACHI - The Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry (LCMD) recently hosted its 2024 convocation, awarding degrees and honors to successful graduates completing their academic journey, reflecting the institution's commitment to excellence in medical and dental education.
The ceremony commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, followed by the academic procession.
On the occasion, dua was offered for Palestine, reminding everyone of the broader global community and the importance of compassion and solidarity.
The chairperson of the convocation for the BDS program, Prof. Dr. Navid Rashid Qureshi, delivered an inspiring welcome address, followed by the chairperson of the convocation for the MBBS program, Prof. Dr. Rashid Naseem Khan.
Their speeches highlighted the achievements of the graduates and the support of the faculty and staff.
JSMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon delivered a motivating and reflective address, urging graduates to continue striving for excellence.
LCMD and DSH Chairman Senator Amir Waliuddin Chishti, in his address emphasized the institution's role in shaping the future of healthcare.

The ceremony proceeded with the awarding of degrees and honors to the best graduates and position holders, recognizing their exceptional academic performance. The best teachers from the MBBS and BDS programs were also honored, acknowledging their dedication and impact on the students' education.
