Pakistani orthodontist honored by international body 

LAHORE: Col Prof Dr. Iffat Batool Syed has become the first Pakistani member of the Angle Orthodontics Society in recognition of her valuable contributions to the global orthodontics field.

Col Iffat, who has been officially honored by the prestigious international body as a ‘legend’ and ‘stalwart’ for her dedication to education and perseverance, recently presented her groundbreaking research paper in Quebec City, Canada. 

She received widespread acclaim and a standing ovation from top orthodontists worldwide, for her work in advancing orthodontic knowledge and practice.

Founded in 1922 by alumni of the distinguished Angle School, the Angle Orthodontics Society is the world's first independent orthodontic college, comprising an exclusive, invite-only community of global leaders in orthodontics.

Speaking to Dental News, Col Iffat said, "This is a tremendous honor for me. I am deeply grateful for the support and encouragement from the dental community and my colleagues. This accolade not only validates my efforts but also motivates me to explore new frontiers in orthodontics."
