Karachi: The Jinnah Sindh Medical University approved nine medical and dental colleges affiliation in its syndicate meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor JSMU Prof Tariq Rafi. Recently the Provincial Higher Education Commission issued disaffiliation notification of five medical and four dental medical colleges from Karachi University.
The administration of these medical colleges has been directed to affiliate their colleges with JSMU. Finally, Vice Chancellor of JSMU Prof Tariq Rafi has approved the affiliation of nine medical and dental medical colleges.
The medical and dental medical colleges affiliated with JSMU include; Altamash Dental College, Fatima Jinnah Dental College Sir Syed Medical, Liaquat Medical and Dental Medicines, Jinnah Medical and Dental College, United Medical and Liaquat National Medical College.
