KARACHI: Caretaker Minister of Health Dr Saad Khalid Niaz met with the recently elected cabinet of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) Sindh.
The YDA delegation, led by patron-general Dr Umar Sultan, visited Dr Niaz's office and presented him with traditional Sindhi Ajrak, gifts, and sweets.
Dr Niaz congratulated the YDA cabinet members, including the newly elected Chairman Dr Farrukh Rauf, President Dr Waris Ali, and General Secretary Dr Mohsin Mengal.
The YDA delegation commended Dr Niaz for his efforts to improve primary health care services and improving healthcare infrastructure at District Headquarters Hospitals (DHQ) and Primary Health Centers.
The delegation urged the provision of basic facilities to healthcare centers, highlighting challenges faced by doctors in hospitals.
The YDA also demanded the minister to investigate the MDCat Paper Leak and fix responsibility for it.
Dr Niaz assured the YDA of the health department's commitment to implementing their recommendations, emphasizing collaboration to enhance community services, hospital infrastructure, and ensure essential medical facilities for the public.
