KARACHI- Earlier, an anti-encroachment drive was held for the second time within the premises of Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK), in collaboration with the Law enforcement agencies and the administration responsible for District South.
All the unauthorized encroachers were strictly instructed by CHK’s management to vacate the hospital residential quarters, at the earliest. They were also asked to remove the illegal constructions and walls around those quarters within 24 hours, or else; the anti-encroachment team of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), Assistant Commoner, Law enforcement agencies and hospital staff will forcefully demolish them.
Medical Superintendent, CHK, Dr Sabir Memon, confirmed that the illegal occupants were given a time window of 24 hours, to vacate the premises.
Such unauthorized occupants have illegally been using electricity, water, gas and other facilities since several years, despite of receiving several notices from the administration.
Dr Sabir Memon added that the anti-encroachment drive has been carried out based on the orders of Sindh Health Department. AMS Security and CHK team have finalized arrangements, facilitating crackdown against such trespassers.
