Margalla Institute (MIHS) bags Top positions in 2nd year BDS exams

Two meritorious students of Margalla Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS) have once again lived up to this institute's tradition of securing top positions in professional exams, conducted by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore. A brilliant student from MIHS named Hadia Arshad D/O Arshad Rafiq, fetched 857 marks out of 1100 to get the 1st Position in the 2nd year BDS Professional UHS annual examination 2013. The 2nd Position in the same examination was secured by another intelligent girl from MIHS – Samia Ejaz D/O M. Ejaz who took 839/1100 marks. The 3rd Position was secured by Ayesha Noor D/O Noor Ahmed, a student of the Institute of Dentistry at CMH Lahore Medical College. The percentage and high-merit achieved by these position-holders and other students reflect the highest standards of learning and knowledge, being provided by the institutions affiliated with the UHS. These institutions include 3 prestigious institutions from the government sector and 8 colleges from the private sector. The other highly competent medical and Dental institutions in these professional exams included: De'Montmorency College, Punjab Medical College Faisalabad, FMH College Faisalabad, Islam Dental College Sialkot, Lahore Dental College, Multan dental college, Nishtar Institute Multan, Sharif Dental college Lahore and University Dental College Faisalabad. Recently, the Higher Eduction Commission (HEC) has ranked UHS as the Top medical university of Pakistan 2013. Among all the students from the 11 affiliated dental colleges across the Punjab province, the Margalla Institute of Health Sciences has stood-out once again to achieve the highest level of academic performance and results.The MIHS and UHS administration has expressed heartiest congratulations to these to exceptional students and their families, while wishing them best of luck for a bright future.
