Second year BDS students of Bahria University Medical and Dental College (BUMDC) recently organized a dazzling fresher’s party for first year BDS students to give them a warm welcome to college life.
The party, themed ‘Mystic Night’, was arranged in the courtyard of BUMDC with splendid, eye-catching decoration. All the students were dressed in elegant and colorful attire.
The event was also graced by the presence of Principal Dental Section, Prof. Dr Wahab Kadri, Vice Principal Medical Section Dr Ambreen Usmani, Dr Khalid Latif, Dr Arqam Najmi, Dr Afsheen Nazeer, Dr Madiha Anwar and Dr Umaima Khan.
The compères welcomed the respected faculty members and the newly admitted first year students.
The program comprised of a series of exciting performances, speeches, skits and dances by students of both the years. The participants stole the glam light and performed wonderfully.
The performances were followed by other fun activities like dedicating new comers various titles that matched their personalities and presenting them with customized shields with the title ‘Dentist to be’. A fancy dinner was served followed by cake cutting ceremony.
