ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has recently announced the National Medical Scholarship Fund 2021-2022 that would provide financial assistance to deserving students who cannot afford medical or dental education.
The fund was initially set up with the commitment of Rs. 250 million by the healthcare regulator, but it has since grown to around 360 million through admission fees and other licensing fees. It is expected to increase further through the continuing grants from public and private sector institutions.
Pakistani students who have applied and are eligible for admission to a medical or dental college in Pakistan for the 2022 session can avail of this scholarship.
The National Medical Scholarship Fund regulations and application form have been uploaded on the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) website.
The last date for the submission of the application form is December 4, 2021.
