KARACHI: At its weekly journal club meeting Jinnah Medical and Dental College hosted a short event in collaboration with GSK (GlaxoSmith Klein) Pakistan.
The proceedings started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a journal club presentation by Dr Huzaifa Saleem on behalf of the department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Then Dr Amna Iqbal from the department of Periodontology delivered a small presentation on the significance of hypersensitivity.
In continuation Mr Faheem, GSK regional manager of consumer & healthcare, discussed the prevalence of gingivitis/periodontitis and hypersensitivity and the GSK products available for these oral conditions. The session ended on a very informative closing note of Prof Dr Junaid Lakhani Principal Dental College JMDC. Dental faculty, house officers and final-year students were among the attendees.
