In her nomination, the patient shared, “For many years, Dr. Tom Quilter has provided outstanding dental care. Last year, he identified osteonecrosis in my jaw, a condition caused by Zometa infusions included in my cancer treatment. Although my medical team initially disagreed with his diagnosis, Dr. Quilter persisted, advocating for me to consult a maxillofacial surgeon. Thanks to his determination, I received the surgery I urgently needed.”
