LAHORE: In order to combat COVID-19, the Punjab government has recently launched a vaccination campaign, 'Reach Every Door (RED)', in the province.
Starting from Oct 25 in all 36 districts of the province, the vaccination campaign has been the government's most extensive door-to-door campaign. The initiative has been taken to meet the vaccination target by December 2021.
Moreover, the health department will establish 14,000 new vaccination centres across Punjab and more than 12,000 mobile teams that will visit every neighbourhood and village to make the RED vaccination campaign a success.
More than 430,000 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Punjab. Coronavirus has taken more than 12,800 lives in Punjab until now.
