KARACHI: A Mehfil-e-Milad was organized at the Hamdard University Dental Hospital (HUDH) to pay homage to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) in the holy month of Rabi-Ul-Awal with religious zeal and fervour.
This auspicious event was hosted by the college students with great enthusiasm, amid a tastefully decorated ambiance adorned with green and silver drapes.
Faculty members Dr Shikoh Naz and Dr Saima Asim were organizers of this blissful event keeping the college’s holy tradition alive.
The Milad started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Hamd and Qaseeda.
The college students and teachers recited Hamd and Naat and highlighted the Seerat un Nabi (PBUH) and Aswa e Husna with great reverence and solemnity.
Speeches were delivered by teachers as well as students on various aspects and phases of the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), highlighting unmatched qualities of his character, including his bravery, wisdom, empathy and sagacious leadership.
The event concluded with a beautifully recited dua and distribution of sweets among staff members and students.
It was a great source of inspiration for the students, encouraging them to further explore the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), and try to follow them to become a better individual.
