PESHAWAR: The Medical & Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) in Peshawar has been rescheduled for November 26, with the arrangements to be overseen by the Khyber Medical University (KMU).
In order to ensure the integrity of the examination process, the assistance of various law enforcement agencies including the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Intelligence Bureau (IB), and police will be employed.
The total number of students expected to take the exam is 46,658, with 219 applicants having their registrations canceled.
Prior to this announcement, caretaker Sindh Health Minister Saad Khalid Niaz had declared the date for the fresh MDCAT 2023 in the province.
This decision was made following the nullification of previous results due to an alleged leakage of examination papers. During a press conference, the caretaker minister confirmed that the MDCAT 2023 in Sindh would be conducted on November 19, to be managed by the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS).
