KARACHI: The management of the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) has served explanation letters to more than 18 employees of the Dental Department for late arrival and early departure from their duties regularly.
According to the explanation letters, more than 18 employees of the Dental Department including the Head of Department, dentists, paramedics, nurses, and sweepers are regularly arriving late, departing early and found absent from their duties.
These employees were traced through their face identification attendance, and the IT In-Charge submitted the report. All employees are directed to explain their position within three days after the receipt of this letter; otherwise, necessary action will be taken as per the hospital’s rules.
Medical Superintendent, CHK, Dr Khadim Hussain Qureshi, confirmed that the explanation letters had been issued to doctors and other staff members concerning their late arrival and early departure from duties. He said no slackness would be tolerated in this regard in the future.
