Karachi: A special CME program was arranged recently at Hamdard University Dental Hospital, in which a series of special lectures were delivered by Dr Kashif Naqvi and Prof. Dr Mervyn Hosein. Dr Kashif gave lecture on Pharma Guide. In his lecture, initially he gave introduction on the Pharma Guide and its significance with special relevance to Dentistry. Later with collaboration of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals he distributed special software of Pharma guide to all House Surgeons of HUDH. He explained how to use this software with the help of a smartphone.
After that, Prof Dr Mervyn Hosein gave a special lecture supported by an insightful video presentation. In the video presentation practical tips were given to achieve success in life. The visuals were beautifully elaborated by Mr Ashok, who is the Managing Director of Zee TV & an Icon in Advertising industry of India. There was more stress on significance of strong communication skills in various fields of life.
Dr Mervyn informed students; not to remain shy in asking questions, improve your applied knowledge and power of critical analysis. This will help you in making timely correct decisions. An active question answer session was held at the end of both presentations.
